Am -  walk up to the guys in the morning and what do you know, there's Connor Arnell, what a surprise.  Good to have him with us for the classics Starbucks morning run. Nice 4 miles.

Pm -  Introduced some speed today.  Did 10 minutes of warm up then got going.  Started off with a rep at 800m goal pace (1:52) up to 600m.  I got 400m in 57 so I stopped there.  Unfortunately I felt pretty flat today.  Then 3 400's at mile pace (1:06.25), I got 65, 66.1, 67.2.  3 minutes rest then 2 400's at 800m pace (1:56), I got 62 and 65.  Just really feeling tired and not fast.  Recover another 3 minutes and just did what I could on the last 2 which were supposed to be goal 800m pace.  I went 65, then was able to relax and run a 62 which was good for the moment.  My body's not used to speed it's been 10 months.  Cooled to 6 miles.

Gonna go get me some shades.  The light has been killing me lately, I can barely open my eyes after workouts cuz their so sensitive.
