7pm-  Another race which was fun.  I ran the 800 meter run.  I am turning into an 800 specialist, I havent even ran a timed mile in a year.  But that would be ok, I am liking the 800 more everytime I run it.  This race I came into a bit nervous.  It was a good chance for me to qualify for BYU.  So me and andrew and hunter and cameron warmed up about 45 minutes before.  We just did a big loop around the town.  Probably about 2 miles.  Then we got ready and mike was like "hey guys ready to warm up?"  So he went and warmed up alone.  We are sorry mike.  Any ways I took my gel and ran another half mile around the school about 10 mins before.  Did some warm ups and strides and stuff.  So the first heat went and the guys in that heat all did good.  Then me and mike were up.  I was kinda in the middle.  The gun fired and i got a good start. I was in about top 10.  I kept that posistion and got a good pace and kept it for 575 meters.  I was about to start my kick and pass a kid when another kid came up to my side.  So I kinda freaked out, I was scared my time was gonna be screwed.  So I had to slow down a bit, then zoom around them both.  Then I tore into the finish with my soul.  I was thinking "o man, I can get this 2:10!"  I think that was the best finish I have done. And unofficialy I got 2:10.  Coach had that and so did my dad and so did my brother so I probably did.
