Am -  3.4 easy run.  Right hamstring feeling weird and crappy, so I took it pretty slow.

Pm -  Had a PT appointment before practice and that helped a fair amount.  Warmed up 10 minutes then the workout I did was 2 800s and 4 600s at mile race pace.  Recover to 120 bpm.  It was supposed to be 6 800s, but I was not even close to getting the time 2:12. It frustrated me but Paul helped me chill and I had 4 solid 600s.  My legs felt super tired, idk why but who cares, we're right in the thick of the season.  Cooled down to 7.6 miles so I could have 11 for the day.

Lifted weights after.

Am -  Easy 4, it actually felt pretty good.

Pm -  Nice recovery day today with an easy 3.7 miles in the afternoon.  Ran through some parking lots and desert exspances and lucious parks.  After that, did a seshun of yoga in Holt's classroom.  We always do the same beast routine if you would like to do it, it is Yoga for Runners Injury Prevention with Fiji McAlpine.

Am -  Starbucks morning run 3.8 miles.  Felt a bit tired.

Pm -  2 miles of warm up, then Coe workout.  Second real speed workout of the season and it was tough.  It makes it hard when your 400 is 52.  After that did 5 little 10 second hill sprints.  Then after than me and Paul did some handoff practice for the medley at DH on Friday.  Cooled down to 5.8 and then lifted weights.  Overall I'm feeling decent.

Am -  3.6 miles and I went slow cuz I was just tired and sore man, tired and sore.

Pm -  Had a therapy appointment right after school so I missed practice.  Those treatments are really helping my hamstring stay alive.  Got home and ran 5 miles, and I did four 200m pick ups at the end.  When I was running up the street, some guy yelled to me "keep running Bruce Jenner, you'll get the medal!" which didn't really make sense since he already won a gold medal.  Hopefully I reminded him of a beast decathlete and not a weirdo transgender dude.

Am -  3.8 in the morning, right hip flexor still feeling a bit crappy.  Found out that the medley is tomorrow so that's weird and stupid.  I was really looking forward to having nothing on Saturday.

Pm -  8.4 miles total in the afternoon.  I ran the 1600m today at DH Invite.  Warmed up 2 miles on a cool loop I invented last year, then another mile on the track before the girls seeded.  Got my spikes on and did like 4 strides then raced/tempoed.  Man I sucked, I just didn't race.  Got out in a solid 1:06 but after that idk I just didn't race at al, I ran.  I'm racking up in my mind as a nice touch up tempo for the medley tomorrow to get the negative feels out of my karma.  After that I ran the cool loop but added on to the golf course to get my miles for the day.  Honestly probably could have felt a bit better with 5 miles of warm up, I felt good after 8 miles on the day.

Am -  Got to the track around 8 so had a long time to chill till the medley relay.  I started my miles with the 800m guys on their warmup.  Ran 2 miles with them, then kept running around till 6 miles.  Getting closer to my race I jogged forever under the bleachers in the shade and got another mile.  Went out to the field, put my spikes on and did a few strides.  Felt decent, a bit tired but good.  My teammates did great and Paul gave me a great handoff into first place.  Two guys hung with me for 500 meters then I got far I head of them.  Solid run for me… then the drama began.

Snow Canyon coach was attempting to get us DQ'd for a long time and a bunch of bull crap.  Paul did take a few steps off, after he got pushed off the track. I was cooling down on the field forever to get my 10 miles in, just waiting for them do medley awards.  Our team was pumped cuz we are pretty sure we broke the school record.  They call it, and what do you know, they give Snow Canyon the first place medals.  I was so pissed wow.  Went out far for a second and chilled.  Turns out nobody who had authority ever DQ'd us so we won!  Shout out to Coach Holt for fighting for us.  Should be fun asking SC coach for our medals back at Dixie next week.  He walked off that field so smug, smh.

Shout out to Eugene, finally met him he's a cool dude.
