Am -  did 2 miles

Pm -  we went up to salt lake for the Herriman Invitational.  I wasn't sure about racing today, I didn't want to if I felt any pain.  Then I would just jack up my hip even more.  I ran a mile and was trying to be really positive about it.  I tried an acceleration on the track, getting up to like 1600 pace.  And that hurt pretty bad so I knew I gotta back off.  It was really depressing watching the races I would have been in.  I got about 3.5 miles that night. 

Overall this meet was pretty good.   Yeah, I didn't even race here, but I definately like everything about BYU's meet better and I hope we could go there next year.

Am -  we got up at 7 after getting to sleep at 1.  Our hotel was in sandy, and we headed east up a hill, then ran north along the railroad track, the dropped into a gully and ran up that a ways.  It was pretty nice run.  I'm felling really good running at a chill pace like 7:00.  We found a sweet swing thing off a tree.  Which I didn't get to do cuz everyone was being stupid.  6.1 total

 Am -  2.75 miles.  Pretty easy run and I felt pretty good.  Groovy stuff man

Pm -  did 1.5 warm up.  So our workout was 600 at race pace, then 300 200 100 all out.  I did one lap of the 600, and i was really disappointed.  I still just had that pain in my hip that wasn't letting me run.  I kinda had a limp in my step.  So I just kinda did the other reps at a relaxed quicker pace.  Coach talked to me and I told him how it was.  It's not looking great for me to race region.  I almost started crying, this whole thing just sucks so bad.  I just wanna run fast.  It's so frustrating this happened and after all the yoga and intense rolling out and all the work I've put in I thought I would feel better today.  Coach said I just need to chill out about it though, and if It happens that I don't run at region, then I don't.  State is the ultimate goal.  I got 4.5 miles this afternoon

Am -  felt alright.  It was some nice morning weather.  2.75 miles

Pm -  had a decent run.  We just did a nice 3 miles the 4x200's.  My hip felt better but still I wasn't able to hold 1600 race pace quite 200 meters.  It feels like it's healing up pretty quickly now.  4 miles total

Later after our kid meet, I went and got a hardcore massage.  The lady said it was super tight and she said it released really well.  Wow it hurt my glute like a hell fire storm.  I won't run on it till tomorrow morning, so I don't know really how it feels yet.  Maybe racing on Thursday will be a possibility.  I probably won't do anything though if I can't sprint totally pain free.

Am - 2.75. Had a nice morning run.  Preston was a really distraught over what AA did last night. Poor guy

Pm -  went over to Dixie high hopeful to race.  Warmed up then did some 200 sprints.  It hurt, I was not gonna be able to hold out for a 1600.  I'm feeling much better though, right almost ready to race. After I ran though, my hip did tighten up a bit, so that's kinda no good.  I wish region was on the weekend or something.  So tomorrow, I'm really hoping to do the 800.  I'm kinda scared I will start to hurt bad halfway through or something.  I want to race really bad but also want to win state really badder. I got 4.25 miles

Am -  2.5 miles.  Last morning run for a looooooong time, that's awesome.

Pm -  5.5 total.  Went over to Dixie for day 2 of region.  When we got there I did a good shake out, then tried to mimick how I would start in the 800 to test out my hip.  Yeah, it's not there yet.  So that's sucks, but I still got a decent amount of easy miles in.  It turned ok that I missed the 800 because Paul got 4th place and qualified for state.  Also Dallin in the 3200m by place so that's dope too.

Took the APUSH test this morning.  I feel pretty good about it.  Hopefully will get a 5.  Freakin glad to be done with that though, that was a hard class.

Pm -  around 1:30, cause we got excused after the test, I did 45 mins with like 5 fartleks.  I felt alright.  Not 100% on the fast stuff, but it's coming along real good.   I got 6.1 miles

Pm -  I went out at 6 down to the Virgin River Trail for my run.  It was pretty sweet, all rainy and whatnot.  The temps were pretty nice so I went shirtless too.  My watch died after 3 minutes, and I was supposed to do 45 minutes, so I just guessed on distance and tried to go around 6 miles.  Hip felt decent.  Trying To Be Cool by Phoenix was going through my head the whole entire time.  I thought a lot about state next week, and I am feeling very confident in my ability to win both my open races.  

Something that raised hell today:  washed my luscious 2000 honda civic, and about 15 minutes later it started raining.  wow.  Also my new case for my phone came in the mail.  dope.  Also I got premium for spotify cuz right now its only 99 cents for 3 months.  life is full of hell raising thing right now.

Pm -  really short mileage today.  Started out with some handoffs, trying to perfect ours for the medley so we each run the optimal distance.  Then 4 400's, did like 1:14, 1:10, 1:08, 1:03.  Right hip felt uncomfortable on those.  Not really painful but could be better.  After I went in to the trainer and got E stem.  Later it tightened up so I did lots of stretching and yoga.  Hopefully I can hold on this week and it will be good enough to get through 4 races.  Then I'll have two weeks to heal it for good!!!  3.5 miles

Pm -  did 1.5 warm. Then we did some master blasters, basically a bunch of 200's at pretty quick pace.  I went pretty fast which felt pretty good at the moment. Later my butt got tightened up.  The good thing though is that running pretty fast is feeling pretty good. Worked on 4x400 and medley handoffs then cooled 2.25 miles.  4.5 total and then right now im getting e-stem on my but so that feels pretty luscious.

Pm -  did a nice easy run of 4.8 miles.  Also tried to do a bit of speed when we got back, but my hip was not feeling as good today.  We practiced handoffs though.  Getting through state is gonna be tough.  I'm gonna have to dope up on ibuprofen and get warmed up really good.  Hopefully I can race without it messing me up, cuz I'm super feaakin ready to go!!!

Am - did the 1600 meter this morning.  I did a few miles warm and had some ibuprofen and all that.  I felt pretty good.  The race started slow s bit like 1:07.  It was raining a bit and so water was spraying up in my face.  I guess lap 2 was really slow too.  I dunno what the split was though.  I kept a good position through the 3rd lap and then the leaders made a move at 600 to go and we really picked it up.  I just battled the rest of the way and ended up 4th in 4:30.  Not a great time, but I'm happy with how it went.

Pm -  Around 4 I anchored our medley team.  It wasn't too good.  I did ok the first lap, and tried to make a move with a lap to go but nothing came.  I just felt completely exausted.  We ended up getting 5th.

Pm-  came into the 800 very positive.  I got a good warm up and was pretty pumped. Race started and I got out good.  I was into about 3 going into the final lap.  Usually I have so much energy left right here, but I didn't have it.  I tried for the pass, but didn't go any where.  I was kinda just hanging on with 300 to go and coming onto the last 200 I had nothing left.  It was such a horrible feeling, my legs feeling so dead.  Pretty disappointing getting 10th.  

4x400 was better.  We went out and ran like a PR 3:30.  The other teams beasted though and we ended up 8th.  It was a pretty fun time.

Over all it was a good track season.  I had some good PR's in the 800 and 1600.  Hurting my hip really messed with my season at the end, I wonder if things may have been different had that not happened.  But I ended up with a medal at state in 1600 so I can end with that positive.  Cross country with be great to kinda get a new start and get things rolling again.

Went to the rec center and balled with my bro.  I'm glad to say my jump shot is still money.  I got buckets all day.  Beat Alex in horse like 30 times.  Then I went and lifted.  Got huge

Am -  I'm in Oceanside this whole week, so that's dope.   I went to the weight room and lifted.  Did upper body.

Am -  went to the workout place and rode a stationary bike for 30 mins.  It was decently hard.  My bod ended up soaked with sweat cuz it's so humid and my heart rate was like 160 the whole time.  After that I lifted doing legs. And some Core

Like an hour later went on a nice rollerblade ride on a bike trail while my mom and dad and aunt ran.

Freakin beast roller blade ride on the bike trail along the San Luis Rey river trail.  Went total of 7 miles.  Passed a skate park and wanted to go ride in there but I didn't have a helmet
