Am -  Good day today.  Me and like 10 boys and girls from our team ran the half marathon.  The race started out at a good pace.  I just felt like good.  I was in 3rd place and just chillin.  Aaron Melter totally dominated the race, I couldn't see him after 3 miles.  But I was just chillin with this guy Walter for a long ways.  Then my beast teammate The Warbeast and some other caugh up to us at about mile 9.  Coach Holt ran with us from mile ten to eleven and helped us gap those 2 guys a bit.  Mile 11 was Majestic which was insanely hard.  Preston gapped me and also a guy past me.  But then it was downhill the last mile and so I passed the guy to get into 3rd.  Preston was not far in front of me and I knew that if I got second I would get 200 bucks instead of 100.  So I passed him with a half mile to go and gapped him by 14 seconds.  Pretty fun, intense race.

When we were cooling down with coach after, he told me and Preston that we couldn't accept our cash prizes because it would make us ineligible for high school track I guess.  So yeah, I'm major butthurt about that.  It really sucks.  I get to keep the giant fake check though, so I'm gonna hang that on the wall.

Great job!! Those sharp hill destroyed my rhythm so much. I just couldn't get anything going. You helped push me and not give up. You guys rocked up mile 11. I wished I had 20 years back. If it weren't for the downhills I wouldn't have seen you at all. Great job!!

Thank you. Great job on your race too.
