Pm -  Quite the run this afternoon.  Me, Alex, and my dad did a trail called the Sand Hill trail.  It goes over this freaking huge mountain of sand that is like a mile to the top, idk.  I started out feeling totally garbage on this run.  The first 30 minutes, my legs were just like burning and I had to take some breaks.  It sucked.  Then like 45 minutes in, going up the sand hill, I finally felt decent.  After getting off the sand hill, I started a 20 minute tempo to finish up my 80 minutes today.  It was alright; part of it was on soft dirt, some on road, and finally up a long hill to my house.  So the paces for the supposed to be AT - LT progression were off, but the effort was right on.  It was flammin hard and my mental game was strong.  This run ended up to be alright.

Something that raised hell today:  Our boys basketball team won state today!  It was a beast game to watch and they beat Dixie 46-43.  It really got me thinking about how much I wanna be a state champ, and how real it is that I could win state in track and XC this year.

At first I was like... What he crap are you running sand hill for right now. Then I figured it out. A couple more titles out there for you too!
