8:45am- This race was good.  I was more nervous for this one then the other races.  Dunno why.  But at the first we had a good start.  It didn't seem to fast but us pine views went straight to the front pretty much.  Halfway through the first lap it was me, kyler, hobbs, and colton in a pack right at the front.  That was the plan, to stay together.  Then on the second lap about by the bathroom those three started pulling away.  I hardly noticed until they were like 30 feet in front.  Then the panguitch kids passed me.  Then Sunshine came onto my side and i had vowed to never let him beat me again, so i stayed right on him.  I stayed behind him till the last lap.  As we started to head south again to the top, I started to kick it into gear.  I passed Sunshine then at the top passed the second panguitch kids.  Going around the corner i looked over and saw the big banner so i just pushed it from there.  Almost at the end I was caught up to hobbs and sprinted harder.  But he saw my shadow so he sprinted harder too and we came in 4 and 5.  It was a hard race but the last lap I just felt great for some reason.  The best part was that my heel had no pain whatsoever so I really hope this foot injury is done forever.
