am -  3.9 miles.

pm -  Today our team did our annual Root Beer Mile.  I was coming back from a third place last year and hoping to improve on that.  Jason was strong favorite to win again.  So the race started and Jason chugged his first root beer in like 10 seconds.  Me and Mitch weren't far behind and I came into the second lap in the lead.  Jason got a big lead on this rootbeer and Mitch got a lead on me too.  I still felt great running on this lap.  By the third Root Beer Jason was already way ahead.  I struggled on the 3rd rootbeer and Mitch got further ahead but I was able to run like a 1:20 and gain a big on him.  On the last rootbeer I could tell Mitch was struggling so that pushed me to chug harder.  I was about 50 meters behind Mitch going into the last lap and he was really struggling.  I passed him with 250 to go and started sprinting.  But then with 100 to go, I felt everything coming up.  I slowed down and tried to keep in it.  It was just too strong so I stopped for a second then cruised in fine to get 2nd place.  Solid race, very sold I improved about 40 seconds from last year.  Oh and it was raining the whole time.

After we drove over and did prospecter trail.  It was really fun.  6.9 miles
