Am - Showed up to practice with a nice rain. We had a 90 min run today so the rain was really beast for that. We headed out on telegraph east to hell hole. We dropped in and on to the trail next to the river. We ran on the trail all the way down almost to the new bridge, then came all the way back. Wow what a nice run, I felt so good especially on the strong finish at the end. It's raining again right now; I hope it rains all day.

Pm - Went out for an easy 30 mins around 4 with Alex and Jake. It was nice we ran to green springs park and back to my house. Got in 3.9 miles. Feeling pretty got after a lot of miles today.

Something that raised hell today: Pizza Pie cafe sent out a text deal; buy one buffet and get one free.

Am - nice easy barefoot run today on grass. It was a lot relaxing and it felt really good to just have an easy run. Especially after yesterday which was possibly my highest mileage day ever.

Pm - Ran a run in the beast neighboring city of my hometown Washington. So I ran in St. George with my team. We ran from our school to Starbucks and back. The heat was hot and a bit humid and it felt great. I really love running in sweltering heat, it just invigorates me and it feels like a luscious sauna. We ran 30 minutes and got 3.9 miles. After also lifted some weights to improve my physeek and muscle strength.

Something that raised hell today in a race: In the running club 1 mile girls race, I saw one of my pupils Kya Cottam almost take down the revered Alli Baker, another one of pupils. It was a gutsy race, and all of my pupils really raised hell it was sick.

Am - nice progression run on the dirt mile. I felt good as we went like 7:00 down to 5:58 for 5.6 miles. It was easy pretty much but my legs got a bit tired by the time we finished up. Solid day. Finished up with barefoot striders on the grass.

Pm - ran at about 2:30 in my neighborhood. Just up to green springs park and back. It was 4 miles in 30 minutes. I saw Alli when I passed her house, that's always fun.

A fact about my life: I like to backpack and I do it a lot.

Something that raised hell today: my little sister told my mom to kill my brother cause he stole some of her candy. Luckily she didn't do it.

Am - Me, Alex, and my dad went out at 6 and ran prospector trail. It was very nice and easy. Got to watch a pretty cool sunrise, the oranges were way rad and majestic. Leg muscle felt destroyed when I woke up but gradually felt a lot better as we got going. Now I'm heading up to the Boulder Mtns to camp with the fam. I'll get some nice runs at high altitude up there.

Pm - nice easy 30 min run in Boulder Mtns
