Am -  Usual easy 30mins this morning.  I think I felt a little better and fresher legs than normal. Got 4.05 miles in.  Skylar and coach continued their Twitter discussion about BYU playing dirty.  Lol, I don't really care.  BYU won and all teams do crap that doesn't get put into the media.

Pm -  Long run this afternoon.  Started out just normal, we ran up to the intersection of telegraph and greensprings by hart's where the girls were waiting for the light.  So we're waiting, and I look over to see coach holt crouching over some dude, and wow!  It turns out coach Roberts is passed out behind a bush.  Me and some guys ran back and grabbed coaches tahoe, rushed back and coach holt drove coach Roberts safely back.  Luckily he's okay, go check out his dope blog, @ vis.fastrunningblog.com.

So then we just finished our 90 min run going up around Albino resort passed pioneer park,  then back on red cliffs drive.  Ended up with a 11.6 mile run.  Legs felt very tired by the end.  The weather was great though, I'm not sure but it felt around 90 or something.  Did a mile of barefoot striders after and lifted weights.

Resting Heart Rate - 48

Am -  easy 4 miles.  It was pouring rain all night, then right before 6:15 it stopped.  Last 2 miles, my soleus down kinda by my inner ankle, was really bugging me.  Weird pain.

Pm -  Went over to Bloomington Hills north park for our (about top 10 guys) interval workout.  The rest of the team had a duel meet vs. DH after.  It was cloudy all day with rain on and off, wasn't raining when we started.  We did 3*(1000m, 3min rest, 600m).  The 1000m intervals were pretty cheese.  First one was 3:27, around 5:30 pace.  Then a 600m around 1:50, I think like 4:50 pace.  The 1000's got a bit quicker, down to 3:15 for the last one.  The 600's stayed about the same, but had more and more uphill.  The last one was all uphill so it was pretty tough.  Total of 8 miles.

I really felt great.  Our recovery week last week has really helped my legs feel fresh this week.  My form felt great on the repeats, except I was slipping some on the wet grass.  It rained a bit during the workout, barely though.  Team did splendid and today was just baller.  Didn't get to stay and watch the meet though, had to go home and do loads of calculus work.  Oh bumma.

Am -  Easy run like always, did 3.85 miles.  Dallin lives along our normal route and he said some sketchy shiz with a gunman was going down over there, so we ran towards my house.

Pm -  Finished off the easy day with a chill 30 minutes on the grass just over at Sandstone Elementary.  Nice run, legs feeling suprisingly good after the last 2 days.  Ran 3.8 miles.

Am -  easy 4 miler into Green Springs again.  Did 101 ups in the locker room.

Pm -  Did a hill workout today.  Same as we've done the last few times, 2*(3*1min).  Went over and did them on our hill of sand.  The construction people are really going hard at destroying the desert.  Their about to pave more road.  Sand was a bit firmer from all the rain sunday-tuesday.  Nice hard workout, I pushed myself very a lot.  It's been a good week, one more workout to go on saturday.  Total of 6.5 miles.

Lifted weights back at school, good seshun.  My right upper hamstring has tightened up a bit, it's not feeling 100% right now.  Haven't been able to get in with the PT but I will next wednesday.

Am -  nice, chill 3.9 miles this morning.  Back to the normal route along red cliffs drive.  Wow it felt great this morning, even a bit chilly.

Pm -  Swag easy run in the afternoon.  Had a dope day of school, I got all my calculus done so none for the weekend!  Our route today was into Washington then down into Sandbergs desert.  Dang, we passed through Marlar breeding grounds and that was sketchy stuff.  We've had so many guys get stung by his spawn going through there.  3.5 mile run then 4*200m to finish up with 4.25

Am -  JV ran at the Canyon View Invitational today.  So varsity ran from CVHS over to bicentennial park, where region is this year, to do a workout.  Over to the park was 1.6 miles.  Then we did the first set of 1min, 2min, 3 min in our normal shoes.  After that we stopped and put on our racers and did the other 1.5 sets in those.  We didn't do 3 min on the last set.  It was good, coach holt wanted them to be at race pace for region, so we were hitting 5:05 pace on them.  I felt not great on the first set.  But after putting flats on I just felt pretty good the last part.  On most of them I was a few meters ahead pushing the pace so we could get that pace.  After, ran back and watched swag races, 8.6 miles today.  Good day, word out.
